I’m the newest member of Find and Convert, joining the team remotely from Brooklyn, NY. My new co-workers — Bernie, Billie, David and Danielle — have been incredibly friendly and welcoming, but being 1000 miles apart, I thought it might be fun to get to know each other better through what each of us were reading and listening to this month. “Lifehacker is general go-to for all things related to productivity, design showcases, and creative tools and apps on/offline. Smashing Magazine is a daily stop for some more in-depth looks at coding techniques and design strategies, plus trends and helpful tutorials. I’m always looking for design inspiration, from packaging and signage to print issues of Architectural Digest and National Geographic. I love the ability to flip through easily on my tablet, but I think I will always prefer print.

Book:  What to Do When it’s Your Turn (and it’s always your turn), by Seth Godin

“In this beautifully illustrated book, you’ll find a lot of the same themes from Seth Godin’s daily blog, but the marketing of the book itself is genius: if you buy one, you’ll get an extra copy to give to someone who needs to be nudged outside their comfort zone. Buy three, you get five. Horizontal marketing … something to watch for in 2015?”
