[Video] Why should I participate in LinkedIn Groups

As a salesperson it’s important to get in front of prospects and get noticed.

If you sell widgets, you can go to any sales convention in the world and talk about widgets. But the odds of you meeting an actual prospect are slim to none.

But if you go to a widget convention, then you can talk about widgets all day long and build up credibility with customers who are actually interested in what you have to say.

LinkedIn Groups are like being at a convention full of your ideal prospects. Speak up & get heard! #linkedIn #sales Click To Tweet

LinkedIn Groups work the same way. Last week I told you how to find the best linkedIn Groups. But finding them is only the beginning. In order to take advantage of Group membership you have to contribute.

This short video explains how you can easily build up credibility in a marketplace – and with your prospect pool – just by contributing and answering questions.
