Why Content Helps Attract Customers

During Vengreso’s recent two-day Selling with LinkedIn workshop for Conversica, CEO Mario Martinez Jr. and CSO Kurt Shaver discussed how to use LinkedIn Sales Navigator to attract more prospects and close more deals.

A big part of attracting customers on LinkedIn is having your Profile optimized for your prospective buyers’ search queries. Keep in mind, the first thing that usually pops up when someone Googles your name is your LinkedIn Profile!

In addition to search optimization, sharing content on LinkedIn is a great way to grab the attention of your buyers. Writing a post and using LinkedIn hashtags makes your content that much more discoverable.

Sharing content on LinkedIn also helps people get to know you, portrays a level of expertise in the content you’re sharing and makes you more approachable. Regularly distributing content on LinkedIn (with thoughtful insights) allows you to engage your connections and attract customers.

Boosting Your SSI Score

With an SSI Score of 82, Natasha had a great recommendation for increasing your own score, which she shared with David Goad during the workshop. Her advice is to reply when someone engages with your content on LinkedIn. Thank them for commenting and ask questions to keep the conversation going. Just like with Facebook and other social media algorithms, more engagement is beneficial for your visibility on the platform.

  1. My LinkedIn account was ranking on the first page for best mommys blog keyword quite a few years back and I didn’t have any idea. While working, I stumbled upon the Analytic section of LinkedIn and saw that most of the visitors are coming from search engine later on I realized that in my profile I’ve used “Mommy’s blog” word a lot of time and that is the reason why it was ranking well on SERP. This is how I came to know about SEO and I was also amazed by the fact that how easy it was to rank for competitive keywords back then. Anyways loved your article and please share more tips on SEO.
