The Story: How using a video for sales can speed up a prospect’s decision-making process.

In his Premium Sales role with the 49ers, Brian essentially sells season tickets to fans and businesses. But the business client demands a persistent approach to gain a response. Before learning of Vengreso, Brian thought he was applying digital sales techniques sensibly. He was using modern technologies like email, social media, and digital tools endorsed by his company; however, a number of b2b prospects remained cold. Then Brian had the opportunity to attend our one-day digital sales video training program, which inspired him to try using video for sales.

Soon after the training program, Brian implemented the sales techniques he learned from Vengreso, and his business prospects have been responding! Ultimately, a high-end client became interested in using Levi’s Stadium (the 49ers’ home turf) for a business event. Usually, when it comes to venue rentals with premium packages, clients want to see the venue in person before making such an important decision. Brian understands what a time-consuming process this can be, and he wanted to make it simple and quick for his clients.

Using the knowledge he gained on sales personalization from his Vengreso training, Brian produced a virtual tour video of Levi’s Stadium that includes suggestions on each of the club spaces. Using video for sales in this way provided this high-end client a personal buying experience while speeding up the decision-making process. Result: the client LOVED the virtual presentation and continued to be in contact with Brian to lock in the event.

Brian’s takeaway from this experience is to have the confidence to try different sales techniques. Though not highlighted in this written version of the story, Brian used more than one sales tool in this process, one of which is Calling. He kept in touch with his prospects via phone calls and text after sending a personalized email, taking to heart Vengreso CEO Mario Martinez’s advice, “Turn your online sales into offline sales.”
